So this piece was fun 😊. I started to make it with absolutely no ideas for the appearance, only the purpose. I wanted to make a soap dish that you could set on the corner of you bath, on your kitchen or bathroom sink. I wanted it to trap the left over water and residue from the soap so It would run into the sink and not be left to settle around the taps like traditional soap trays with holes.
I love how this piece came out of the kiln with curdled glaze allowing you to see the raw clay. The textures and visuals are beautiful.🥰
