So This is the first original piece of Afro chick - I'll explain. I wanted to use an icon as the inspiration for the face but I didn't want it to look exact because I wanted to create something random & original.  When I'm painting I take photos of my painting's process especially if it looks decent enough for me to use elsewhere. Once I finished a rough 20-minute painting of this icon I took a picture and I gave her an Afro. It completely changed the whole painting and now she is called Afro chick.  When you see Afro chick you can see the same features and how much it highlights diversity and difference. Something Unique
